Leveling Survey

Description

Leveling is a surveying method to assess the elevation between two points on the surface of the earth. As the earth is an oblique spheroid, the level surface will always be curved and not a plane one. The concept of leveling deals with the measurement of a vertical plane compared to a horizontal line of sight and is highly useful in the railways, and highways sector. Types of leveling done byKongunadu Surveyor We are one of the leading leveling survey services at Coimbatore. Barometric leveling – It is a quick method of leveling where our surveyors use the Barometer to determine the elevation from the changes in the atmospheric pressure, as the atmospheric pressure decreases with elevation. Profile leveling – The process of determining the elevations of points along the centerline of the road in the phase gate stage of the project is carried out efficiently by our team at Kongunadu Surveyor before the linear engineering works are to be laid. Reciprocal leveling – When the distance is long and the balance of the line of sites is not possible such as in the case of a point on either side of the river, our level surveyors keep an equal distance from the back and forward staff station and opt for reciprocal leveling only when there is no option of profile leveling. Differential leveling - Our leveling survey services in Coimbatore determine the reduced level or establish benchmarks of some point distance apart. Precise leveling –We do this special method of leveling to establish a benchmark with high precisions at widely distant points and usually conduct it for authorizing the Government's GST benchmark. Longitudinal leveling – To obtain a record of the undulations of the ground surface, the leveling operation is surveyed along the centerline of proposed engineering projects such as road, railway, and canal. Cross leveling – To determine the information regarding the levels of the ground on either side of the longitudinal section, our team Surveyors conduct cross leveling for computing the quantities of earthwork. Simple leveling- Our leveling surveyors determine the difference of level between two points and find the elevation of points by using a leveling instrument. Fly leveling & Check leveling – Differential leveling is done by our surveyors to connect a benchmark to the starting point of the alignment of any project and is called fly leveling. At the end of day work, fly leveling is done, and check leveling is done at the starting point on that particular day. Get Quote
